Suggestion: To take Uttarakhand Govt. buses from Delhi ISBT as they are punctual and quicker to reach than Pvt. Buses. They will drop you at Dehradun ISBT which is 6 km from Railway Station

Insructions


  • Smoking cigarettes makes you lethargic & can potentially shortened your breath during the trek, we recommend not to smoke for your own good

  • Drinking alcohol is not allowed since it results in dehydration and can cause AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness), it eventually reduces the oxygen level from the body

  • Buying drugs or any illegal material is strictly prohibited

  • Instructions from guide should be paid attention to and followed




Brief Overview


  • Located in Tehri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, India; nearest town is Pantwari which is 55 km from Mussoorie

  • Nag Tibba is the highest peak of the Nag Tibba range in the Lesser Himalayas. It is known for its classic summer and winter treks which are rejuvenating escapes from the mundane city life during the weekend

  • Captivating steppe farming & hill slopes with bauhinia plants makes a picturesque gorge. As the trek starts from the base, you have a beautiful glance at white anemones

  • As you go higher, you will discover dense forests of oak, scarlet wonder of rhododendron, pansy blooming orchids and an abundance of mint and kandali shrub

  • Birds like warblers, red and blue bulbul, hill myna and willow tit can be sighted during the trek. As you climb higher towards the summit, niltava sundara, flameback woodpecker and even the magnificent eagle can also be witnessed in the forest

  • Best time to visit is between mid February – mid June & mid September – November

  • Last ATM points are available in Mussoorie and Dehradun




Itinerary


  • Day 1 - Pick-up from Dehradun Railway Station, drive to Pantwari by taxi and then trek to Nag Tibba base camp – (4 hrs drive + 4 km trek)

  • Day 2 - Trek to Nag Tibba Summit & return back to base camp for lunch and then drive back to Dehradun by evening

  • Don't carry denim - they are uncomfortable for treks and add weight (unless you want to do modeling :p)

  • Don't carry cola, alcohol and personal food

  • Do not litter - leave the surroundings clean and beautiful for next generation

  • Avil 25mg – 4 tablets (allergies)

  • Combiflam – 4 tablets (pain killer)

  • Norflox TZ & Lomofen– 6 tablets each (diarrhea)

Cancellation & Refund Policy


  • Cancellations made 10 days before the commencement of the trip, 100% of total cost will be refunded
  • Cancellations made 5-9 days before the commencement of the trip, 50% of total cost will be refunded
  • Cancellations made 0-4 days before the commencement of the trip, a bit too late for any return
