How to Reach

You can reach Bir, the Paragliding Capital of India; through several modes of transportation. Once you reach Bir, it is just half an hour drive to Billing. We can arrange transport from Bir to campsite at Billing at Rs 500/car (seating capacity - 4 pax/ car) and Rs. 800/car (seating capacity - 7 pax/ car)

By Air

Nearest airport is Gaggal Airport, Dharamshala (DHM), which is around 70 km away from Bir and takes around 3 hours to reach the destination from airport.

By Train

Pathankot Railway Station is the nearest station to Bir Billing and it is just 145 km away, takes 4-5 hours by cab. You can consider below trains to reach Pathankot –

  • Dauladhar Express (14035) – runs only on Monday, Wednesday & Friday
    Dep. time – 23:00
    Arr. time – 8:20 (following day)

  • Delhi Pathankot SF Express (22429) - runs daily except Thursday
    Dep. time – 8:25
    Arr. time – 18:50 (same day)

  • Durg Jammu Tawi Express (18215) - runs only on Thursday
    Dep. time – 7:50
    Arr. time – 18:30 (same day)

  • Tatanagar Jammu Tawi Express (18101) - runs daily
    Dep. time – 21:50
    Arr. time – 11:00 (following day)

By Bus

You can catch a bus to Kangra from Delhi (see bus chart) which is 490 km and takes around 10 to 11 hours depending on the traffic. After that either you can catch a local bus to Palampur & then Bir or you can get a taxi directly for Bir. After Bir we can arrange a pick-up as mentioned above

By Car

Drive yourself to Bir Billing from Delhi (550 km approx.) It can take you around 11 to 12 hours depending on the traffic. Follow the below route –

Delhi – Panipath – Kurukshetra – Ambala – Rupnagar – Nangal – Amb – Kaloha –Ranital – Kangra – Palampur – Bir – Billing

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made within 48 hrs of the check in date or in case of no show, full cost of stay shall be charged.
  • Cancellations made between 96 - 48 hrs of the check in date, cost of 1 night of the package would be charged. Non refundable policy during peak season.
  • Cancellations made before 96 hrs of the check in date 25% of the package cost would be charged.
Refund will be processed within 7-10 working days
